COMPACT GRAPPLE FOR CONTROLLED TIMBER HANDLING
The Forester FG20 is a hydraulic log grapple developed for loading, unloading, sorting and stacking timber. It is suitable for handling individual logs, pulpwood, branches and compact timber bundles in forestry operations, farms and timber yards.
Its 0.20 m² gripping area and 1,170 mm maximum opening provide useful capacity without making the attachment unnecessarily heavy. The grapple weighs 75 kg, helping preserve the crane’s available lifting capacity, while its compact 432 mm closed height supports controlled handling around the trailer and timber stack. Operating pressure is 175 bar.
The FG20 can be paired with compatible Forester cranes and appropriately rated hydraulic rotators. The final configuration, including the rotator, connecting link or swing damper, hydraulic hoses and couplings, should be selected according to the crane capacity, mounting interface, hydraulic system, material being handled and working conditions.
